I Love This Time of Year

I just love this time of year, and I’ll tell you why. FRUIT!!! Ok, so this love could cover a time that goes from about now clear through the end of the summer and into fall. Unfortunately during the winter it is not only cold and dreary most of the time, but the fresh produce is nill.

My favorite right now is strawberries! Oooh, how I love strawberries, sprinkled with sugar and half and half poured over the top. It’s like strawberry cereal. And, do you know what the best part is? Drinking the left over half and half that is all sweet from the sugar and strawberries.

Yummy!

And, if you are not fond of strawberries, this concoction works well with a wide variety of other fruits; blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, peaches, and nectarines.

Family Tree

I found this on Red Envelope and thought it was such a great idea. I’ll be adding this to my project list. “Things to do when I’m done with school”. Let’s see if I can focus on the schooling to make it through the last month!

A few things I “need”

I have been looking around the interwebs for a cute little something to wear to graduation. This is a difficult task of late because of the nursing school weight gain that puts the “freshman fifteen” to shame. I have however found some outfits that are just so cute, whether or not they will be cute on me, I don’t know, but cute all the same and on my wish list.

I absolutely love this!

Have you heard? Amy Butler not only has some of the cutest fabric around, but now she has handcrafted rugs! They are beautiful! I definitely need one in my living room to brighten up the place. Alas, school comes first and it has robbed me of all my money and time to make money as well so I will have to dream for now.
